PEP RALLY WEEK

A pep rally is an event before a school sports event that is meant to get students and fans excited and to encourage the team to win also: a similar event in which speakers try to get a group of people excited and enthusiastic about something. The mayor gave an inspiring speech at the party’s pep rally.

A pep rally is a great way to encourage school spirit. Most students enjoy them because they are at the end of the day and students won’t have to worry about their assignments.

Students appreciate pep rallies because they love to hear the sound of the crowd. When more people attend pep rallies, the crowd is extremely loud and proud! This makes it easier for us to pump up the crowd for the game day! Two ways I can get students more interested in attending them include showing more school spirit around the school and letting them vote on the games we could play.

‘’It’s time to show your spirit,” Lauren Myers said.

One reason showing more school spirit could improve the attendance at a pep rally is because they are more influenced to go. Students get to participate in pep rallies games and if a team wins they get a prize.  Pep rallies come on a Friday to support the school and the team to get them excited for their game to win, ‘’students enjoy them a lot they could get to support their team and they could get to have fun and to enjoy themselves with their friends,” Lauren Myers said.
