A day in the life of a OHS student

Here’s a day in the life of a sophomore named Anabel Garcia.

This article is going to be about Anabel Garcia’s day. Basically what she did inside and outside of school as an OHS student. Here’s a little bit about Garcia, she played soccer for the high school and she plays a soccer league outside of school. Now let me get started about her day on Monday. She woke up to get ready for school at 6:10 and she left the house at 6:45. She got to school at 7:00 and the bell rang, then she went to her first period which is English Honors and she read a poem in that class. When the bell rang she walked to her second period, her second period class is World History. “World History is one of my favorite subjects because we learn about the past and what happened before we existed,” Garcia (10) said. In that class she took notes and did a lesson. Next was her third period, her third period is Spanish 1 in that class she had a sub and did what her teacher assigned on Schoology. After the third period bell rang she walked to her fourth period class which is Chemistry, in that class all she did was notes. Then she walked to fifth period which is Pre Calculus in that class she did a review for a test. Finally, she walked to lunch she sat and ate with friends. Next she walked to her sixth period class which is Band, in band she did a marching review. For her last period she walked to the gym for P.E. “P.E. is one of my favorite classes because I like being active and it’s an easy class for me,” Garcia (10) said. She did a 50 yard dash in that class. When the last period bell rang she got picked up at 2:10 and went home to get dressed for soccer conditioning. She came back to the school and did conditioning till 4:00 and then went home and did school work. When 6 came she started getting dressed for her soccer game and went to the fields at 7, she played her game from 7:30 to 8:30 and then watched the boys game right after. She went home around 9:50 and stayed up doing schoolwork then got ready for bed.

WAITING IN LINE FOR LUNCH. Anabel Garcia waits in line to get school lunch. Students like Garcia eat school lunch. “Waiting in line for school lunch isn’t that bad,” Garcia (10) said.
