Tami Causier is a good teacher. She’s always helping when she is asked. But sometimes she isn’t in a very good mood. She’ll get mad when the students try to talk over her. She’ll either send you to the office for the disrespect she was given. Other than her getting mad, she is a very kind-hearted person. “The influence of a good teacher can never be erased,” Causier said. What she means by that is a good teacher will not be forgotten for what she did. “TELL me and I will forget. TEACH me and I may remember. INVOLVE me and I will learn,” Causier said. What she means by that is you are told you won’t be able to do it later but if you are taught then it will be useful later. She is in her 22nd year of teaching. The reason why she has stayed so long is that she believes that she has something to share with her students: to help them become better readers and learners; to model what it means to be patient and respectful; & to provide a safe and comfortable place for them to spend an hour of their day.
