Valparisia Gibson is a teacher who teaches at the Okeechobee High School, which in my opinion I think is one of the best teachers I love the way she teaches and her motivation to teach and inspire students to become better citizens. Two of the quotes she uses are “Knowledge is Power, Once you have it no one can take it away from you. “Gibson said, and “Always strive to do your best and reaching to be perfect is not always the best policy!” Gibson said, Some of the people Mrs. Gibson looks up to or that have inspired her would be her parents and some of her Middle School Teachers Mrs. Daniels (Math) Mr. Neal (Science). A little History about Sergeant Gibson is that she’s been at Okeechobee High School for 13 years teaching the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program. She is a United States Army Veteran who has served for over 21 years. Also originally from Cocoa Beach, she’s married and has a daughter who is currently attending FSU and her husband is the College President at Florida State College of Jacksonville. Some of her hobbies will include going shopping, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family. She also loves teaching the JROTC program. It allows her to Lead, Mentor, and Motivate students to become better citizens.
