Garcia’s day

Garcia’s Day

Here’s a day in the life of a sophomore named Crystal Garcia.

Basically what she did inside and outside of school as an OHS student. Here’s a little bit about Garcia. She plays soccer for the high school and she’s a very smart student. Now I am going to get started about her day on Monday. She woke up at 5:40 am, took a shower, got dressed, and then waited for her bus. Her bus got there and she went to school, she arrived at school at 6:45 and sat and talked to friends until 7. When the bell rang she walked to first period which is biology. In that class, she did a Kahoot to review for a test she’s taking tomorrow. Next was her second period her second period is Spanish 1. In that class she wrote down vocabulary and did a assignment on Schoology. After the second period bell rang she walked to her third period which is English two honors. “English two honors is one of my favorite classes because it challenges me and makes me try hard,” Garcia (10) said. In that class, she read a story and then her class had a discussion about it. Then she walked to fourth period which is Drivers Ed. In that class, she did two Schoology assignments on chapter 3 and 4. Finally she went to lunch. At lunch she sat with a friend and ate while talking. After lunch she went to fifth period. Her fifth period class is World History. In World History, she watched a video documentary about the lesson she’s currently on. Next she walked to her sixth period class which is Ceramics and pottery. “Ceramics is one of my favorite classes because I’m learning something that I’ve never done before,” Garcia (10) said. In that class, she took notes about how to glaze her pottery and what not to do. Lastly, she went to her seventh period class and that class is Pre Calculus Honors. In that class, she took notes and started her homework for the week. When the last period bell rang she walked to her bus and got home around 2:30. She went home, took a nap, when 5:00 came she started getting dressed for her soccer game, and left at 5:50. She played, then watched a game, and got home around 10:00. When she got home she showered and got ready for bed.

WAITING FOR FIRST PERIOD BELL TO RING. Crystal Garcia waits at the lunch tables for the bell to ring for first period. Students like Garcia get to school early and wait. ” I like waiting for the bell to ring because it gives me time to talk to my friends,” Garcia (10) said.
