SHINING STARS

NHS is a club that high school students help supply food for Elementary schools. They do a program that is called a backpack program. What this program does is that high school students literally stuff a bookbag full of food for elementary schools so the kids don’t go hungry. They have a meeting once a month and they discuss what they are going to do for that month. There are a lot of members in this club and they all enjoy this club. If you love to help elementary kids, well this club is for you. If you have an elementary child, your kid would be happy to see this because they get free food. They would also love seeing our NHS members with their big smiles and cheering up their day. ” NHS club helps me make new friends,” Sam Melear (12th Grade) said. “I love to help elementary students that don’t get a lot of food,” Anna Velten (12th Grade) said.

SUPBERB STUDENTS: All of these students are the ones who make the Elementary student’s day. They cheered up their day with a backpack full of food and other goodies.
