The 2021 OHS Girls Volleyball’s last play off
Today I’ll be writing all about this season’s final game. They are scheduled to play on Wednesday, 10/20 at seven. It is an away game in Riviera Beach against the chargers. They have an overall win of 70% and our team has won 52% of their games this year. After a long game the final box score was Brahmans 1, and the Chargers 3. Some of the highlights from all of these tournaments were the plays against South Fork on October 14th, Trinity Christian on October 10th, and Winter Park on October 8th. Although the girls had lost their most recent games, when talking about standings Okeechobee was the number one team ranked in the 5A District 14, following behind was Jensen with a 1-0 losing streak. When the sport first started we asked the coach, and players a few questions about their goals for this year. “My goal is to encourage ALL players and coaches to understand the importance of their roles to create a successful program; everyone has a key part to the team’s success,” said head coach Jerry Veloz.
