Describing McDuffie’s day at OHS

Here’s a day in the life of a sophomore named Monesha McDuffie.

This is what this OHS student did inside and outside of school. Here’s a little bit about McDuffie. She’s a very smart student and she’s a cheerleader for the OHS basketball team. Now I’m going to talk about her day on Tuesday. She woke up at 5:00, got dressed, and left her house at 6:05 to walk to her bus stop. She got to school at 6:30 and sat and ate with friends until her bell rang at 7:10. She then walked to her first period class which is Environmental Science. In Environmental Science, she did notes and studied them. Next was her second period, her second period is Pre Advanced English 1. In that class, she worked on her writing plan for her argumentative essay. When the next bell rang, she went and got on a shuttle bus to the high school from the freshman campus. When she got to the high school, she went to Personal Fitness which is her third and fourth hour class. In that class, she did yoga and took notes. When Personal Fitness was over she got back on a shuttle bus and went back to the freshman campus to eat lunch. Then lunch was over, so she had to get back on another shuttle bus and come back to the high school for her sixth period class. Her sixth period class is Geometry. “Geometry is one of my favorite classes because I like to make friends and help people and I’ve made a lot of friends in that class,” McDuffie (9) said. In Geometry, she went to the auditorium because the teacher was not there and in the auditorium she did makeup work and helped other student’s with their math homework. Lastly, she went to her seventh period which is World History. “World History is another one of my favorite classes because I can get my work done fast and the teacher is a fun guy who tries understanding student’s and tries looking from their point of view,” McDuffie (9) said. In that class, she worked on topic 4.1 and 4.2 vocabulary in the book. When the last bell rang she walked to her bus and went home around 2:45. When she got home she went to the store and then did homework. She then finished her homework, took a shower, ate dinner, and then went to bed.

WALKING TO 7TH PERIOD. Monesha McDuffie walking to fourth period. Student’s like McDuffie like taking the sidewalk to walk to their classes. ” I like taking the sidewalk to walk to 7th period because I can walk and talk to my friends at the same time,” McDuffie (9) said.
