Dress code is a set of rules you have to follow, like wearing certain types of shirts, pants, shorts and tank tops. Dress code has always been around in school since the 1970s. Students would get dress coded a lot more even the guys would get dress coded for certain clothes. You couldn’t wear pants to school everyday you could only wear them on certain days like a Friday and like a couple bucks to wear them .Over time it had changed and you could wear pants any day of the week. Girls could get dress coded for having holes in their pants, also for wearing shorts that are to small and tank tops that show your shoulders. Boys don’t get dress coded as much then girls do cause their are not that many ways boys can get dress coded for. You could get dress coded for having something inappropriate on your shirt like a picture or certain words. A lot of students have their opinions on dress code and they don’t like it.
