Semester Exams

Semester exams are tests of the knowledge of students for the entirety of the semester’s content. It is a test that counts for 20% of the semester grade. To prepare for this exam you must study the material and content read and work on throughout the semester. “I have to teach the course content to students who don’t get A’s so they can pass the exam,” Rebecca Harvey (teacher) said. These exams only apply to most classes, to find out if a teacher is giving semester exams ask them about it. Some classes don’t have semester exams which could be for a multitude of reasons. There however is a way to be exempt from these exams. “Only the few students who have A’s are going to be exempt from the exams,” Eddie Matchett (teacher) said. To be exempt a student has to have 2 A’s in a semester, then the student will not have to take the semester exam. 2 A’s in some classes is very hard to achieve and shows that students already understand the course content.
