Starting the college semester.

With a new semester comes new classes in the IRSC college. These classes can either be taken online or in class at the Dixon-Hendry campus. These classes count for classes taken at Okeechobee High School and can be beneficial to expedite the high school processes. A new semester means more preparation for the classes that can be taken. One such preparation is the need for a graphing calculator for many math and statistics-based classes. “The first test will be next Thursday,” Jill Holcomb(Teacher at IRSC) said. There are also classes like chemistry and engineering which require certain programs and textbooks. “Our classes math software is my-open-math,” Holcomb said. Certain programs and classes will require a code for a textbook-like some of the math-based classes. Tests will in the foreseeable future.
