The challenges of chess
At first glance Chess may seem like a simple and fun game. One where you and your friend can learn and play in less than a few minutes. Though that is far from the case, as fun as this game is, it’s a very challenging game. One that uses strategy and tactic, while forcing you to keep track of both you and your players pawns. Which shows that, “Chess is not for the simple minded,” Ish Aguilar (12th) said.
With that in mind chess might not be for everyone, after all, “I never enjoyed playing it but I do enjoy watching,” Elyssa Sanchez (12th) said. Though, just because it’s difficult, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give Chess a try. You may surprise yourself and like the challenge. Not everyone will, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from at least trying the game.
