A group of kids after school are now playing D&D.
Recently a group of kids started a D&D campaign after school. For those who don’t know what that is, D&D is short for Dungeons and Dragons. Which is an adventure and fantasy game that uses dice to determine your fate. Therefore your “Just trying to survive, man,” Cayden Jones (12th) said.
It’s also “In many ways… even better than novels for creating a story. They feature beautiful group dynamics, teamwork, intellectual disputes, goofy sidebars and most of all, the surreal aspect of uncertainty. Unlike a novel, the outcome is not preordained. In fact, the protagonists might fail and the ominous overlord will triumph,” Patrick Sanders said.
