What going to MyCon was like for the Anime Club.
In case you don’t know, the Anime Club on March 26 took a trip to MyCon. Which is where people can come to cosplay, hang out with other anime lovers, and buy anime related things. It’s overall a very fun and exciting experience which lets the members of the club meet other people with the same interest as them. Along with this, it allows members to explore, learn, and try new things.
A good way to describe an anime convention would be, ”You ever walk into a room of colorful costumes and strong smells of perfume plus body odor, you my good friend have made it to an anime convention,” Ryan Conrad (11th) said. MyCon was also described as “…a lot of fun. We had enough freedom to go pretty much anywhere within the building, but the supervisors were still there within reach. I may have spent nearly all my money because I love anime conventions, but overall it was a fun and worthwhile trip,” Rachel Hogenkamp (11th) said.
