Cross Country is just one of many sports at OHS but it’s recently been becoming one of our best athletic sports with girls almost making states winning districts and almost all of OHS runners coming in the top 50-100. Cross Country is a 3 mile running sport that takes endurance, mental focus, work, and lots of practice. Some of OHS’s best Cross Country runners post times of around 18 minutes which is in the top Florida runners times. Our Lady and Guy Brahmans went to their first meet last Wednesday at Centennial High School on August 24, 2022. Our fastest boy was Wyatt Phillips with a time of 20:06 and our top girl was Lindsey Saucedo with a time of 23:11. Lindsey placed 19th in the girls standings and Wyatt placed 20 in the boys.
