This week for Harris’s science class they are working on and studying the basic properties of water. The basic property of water is water is a polar molecule due to a slightly negative charge on the oxygen and a slightly positive charge on the hydrogens. Hence, the molecule has a bent shape. Here some of the main properties of water are cohesion, adhesion, capillary action, surface tension, the ability to dissolve many substances, and high specific heat. Another thing that they are going over is basic biochemistry. You might be wondering what basic biochemistry is. Basic biochemistry is the branch of science that explores the chemical processes within and related to living organisms. It is a laboratory-based science that brings together biology and chemistry. By using chemical knowledge and techniques, biochemists can understand and solve biological problems. The main goal of biochemistry is to understand the structure and behavior of biomolecules. This is what the class is learning this week all amazing things. Harris is a good teacher but he doesn’t really like phones in his class. “Please don’t let your phone steal your education,” David Harris (Teacher) said. If science is your thing, then you are probably loving this class.
