This week on Wednesday, September 7th the blood drive was held at OHS. The time to donate blood started at 7:30am. The minimum age requirement was 16. If you wanted to donate blood and were 16 or 17 you needed a parent consent form. Why should you donate blood? Each whole blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives. If you didn’t get the chance to sign up or weren’t 16 yet you could donate in the next blood drive which will be held on November 9.
“Make sure to donate blood,” Mayte Orta Santos (10) said.
