Pets are a common thing everywhere you go around the world. Here in Florida where I live 56% of our population own pets. Now that is a big amount of people who own pets imagine other states, countries, etc. Pets are a needed part of their owners’ lives. Many care for them as if they were family. I spoke with my girlfriend Yahira Gomez, about how many pets her family has and this is what she stated” we as our actual family have only 2 pets which are two dogs. On the other hand, anyone else who has pets out of my other family is two of my uncles and my grandma. One of my uncles owns two the other one owns one and my grandma owns a kitten” Gomez (11) said. I then explained to her how it doesn’t seem like a lot of pets because only three of her family members have some but if you were to think about it out of every other family in just our town of Okeechobee own pets you’d be shocked and that’s just our town population imagine state or country. Now you kind of get an idea of how many people actually own pets.
