The Swat club has two officers at the moment, which means they share the club’s presidency, Hailey Vazquez Virto and Jasmine Mora. They plan on having their first meeting next Tuesday, focusing on enrolling students in the club. They also intend to tell all the newcomers what the club is about once they attend the meeting. “We want to focus on the teaching of how vaping and tobacco are bad since more people do it nowadays,” Vazquez(12) said. The presidents of the club are looking forward to seeing new faces this year since the seniors graduated last year meaning they need new people to take their spots. The club advisor changed to Mr. Hays so good things are sure to come out of the club. They have many things planned for this year club-wise and hope to experience them with new members. Make sure you get your club forms signed and turned in so you can become a part of SWAT this year!
