Hello there, welcome to another post from yours truly. For this week’s post, we’re looking into what has happened in the World History course this week.
The section being focused on this week in World History is Topic 2.6. It is about The Kingdoms of West Africa, specifically the kingdoms of Timbuktu and Mali, and how they flourished because of the gold held by Mansa Musa, who was quite possibly the richest person who ever existed. He was worth $400 billion dollars in today’s dollars.
And, as usual, here’s the weekly inspirational quote taken from one of the teachers of the course, Mr. Willie Welch: “History is a relentless master. It has no present, only the past rushing into the future. To try to hold fast is to be swept aside.” -Mr. Welch (10) said.
