There is one thing that we all have in common, we are all made up of matter. Now you may be wondering what the matter is and if you don’t know ill gladly tell you. The matter is a substance made up of various types of particles that occupy physical space and has inertia. The matter is any substance that has mass and takes up space by having volume. Atoms combine to form matter. Molecules are made up of one or more atoms. If they contain more than one atom, the atoms can be the same (an oxygen molecule has two oxygen atoms) or different (a water molecule has two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom). Biological molecules, such as proteins and DNA, can be made up of many thousands of atoms. At OHS everything is made up of matter from the people around you to the homework that is assigned to you at night. “It’s like the physical meaning of everything, like a pencil, it made up of, matter,” Jacob Smith (11) said.
