Okeechobee Varsity football team played against Westwood on October 3rd, 2022. Okeechobee sadly lost to 21-14. Ni’marion Bryant held the team in receiving yards per game with 21.7 yards. Michael Burgerelli lead the team for rushing with a total of 66.7 yards, he also made 3 total touchdowns. Troy N Young made 14 tackles and Josiah Standford lead in sacks with a 1.0. There were no interceptions, passing or receiving touchdowns made in the game. However, there were 3 receiving touchdowns lead by Michael Burgerelli. There were no caused fumbles, fumble recoveries, or QB hurries in this game. “Winning is not everything.. but making the effort to win is,” Austin Owens (11) left tackle said.
