Were Exercising Underwater

The seasons shifting from summer into fall changes the swim year. Because of this shift the temperature of the air and the pool decreases. This change is one all swimmers dread. All of the swim meets have been pushed back because of hurricane IAN. Most of the pools were unaffected in our district, but Okeechobee’s county pool was filled with leaves and branches and was filled to the brim with water. “I and the other lifeguards have been tasked to get all of the leaves out of the pool,” Amber Gatliff (11) said. “This work was all done and now we can get back to swimming,” Gatliff (11) said. These days off because the hurricane made the swimmers get more out of shape, and threw them off track so now we need to get back on track. Our senior night swim this year Is later than most wanted it to be. The day it will be is next Tuesday the 11th of October.

“This work was all done and now we can get back to swimming,” Gatliff (11) said.
