The process involves taking clay and prepping the clay to be spun on the pottery wheel, slowly you add water and begin shaping the clay with your hands manipulaitng the clay into the shape you want. Pottery making in such a precarious talent, its hard to master and there is a lot of things you must learn to be able to do this correctly. “It took me forever to get even semi good at pottery but the outcome is amazing,” Kendra Henderson (12) said. This kind of talent is one that takes time to master but once you get the hand of it you can makes he most beautiful pieces. I suggest if you ever get a chance to try your hand with pottery, go for it.
The pottery is being prepped during the night to be put in the kiln. The kiln will harden the clay.
