Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to this weeks edition of “What’s Happening This Week In CTE Courses”. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
In Ag Mechanics: Mr. Thompson, the course instructor, is teaching his “apprentices” how to wire a model trailer. This skill would be helpful if one ever needed to wire or re-wire a trailer. Nothing really else for his class this week.
And for Health Science: Ms. Skeen’s class(es) are focusing on the Respiratory system, specifically normal rates for vital signs and diseases affecting the elderly population. On Friday, they will have a HOSA Halloween party after school.
When asked how she thinks her students will do in the real world, she said, “I believe they will make a huge impact. I base this on the current situation of students that have graduated.”

These vehicles are just some examples of DC power. DC power is used is our daily lives.
