Welcome back everyone to this week’s edition of “Let’s See What’s Happening In CTE Courses This Week”. I hope you all had a Happy Halloween. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
In Ag Mech. : Mr. Thompson is teaching his first-year students about what AC electrical is. His second-year’s are moving onto the diesel department. Diesel mechanics are very much needed in today’s society. Not to mention the pay diesel mechanics get.
And in Health Science: Ms. Skeen is teaching her students about the Circulatory system and Cardiac systems. Another blood drive is coming to the school on 11/9/22. The day to sign up to donate blood starts tomorrow.
“To me, this is what CTE is all about. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re here to keep the world running,” Mr. Thompson (Ag. Mech. Instructor) said.

Here, Agricultural Mechanics students are learning about diesel engines. Diesel engines are necessary to use semi’s and other big trucks.
