The foundation is one area where experts excel that amateurs frequently neglect. Long, simple conditioning workouts, general strength-building activities, mobility exercises, injury prevention exercises, and so on. You might be tempted to skip through the “easy” exercises and go straight to the challenging intervals because it doesn’t sound enjoyable. But that’s what makes athletes successful. They experience slower tiredness, can handle a higher training load later in the season, and hence, perform better. The foundation may be built quickly and easily. Focused low-intensity exercise for a few months will significantly improve fitness and get the body ready for the difficult job to come. “Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up.” Hailey Hill(12) said.
