Volleyball is an amazing sport. I love playing volleyball for OHS because on home games we have theme days and a lot of people come and support us. Volleyball inspires me to be a better person. This sport may seem easy but in reality it’s actually pretty difficult because you have to have certain plays, run quicker plays, and it’s just time consuming. If you want to play volleyball but you don’t know how to just practice a lot and trust the process because you will start to see yourself improve. Playing volleyball for high school is very competitive. The girls are so much older and have a lot of power. Volleyball is only fun when you have competition. That’s why I like playing with high schoolers because they have more experience. The varsity girls on the OHS volleyball team always help me and give me advice to score more points. Volleyball requires a lot of talking and team work.
