The Debate and Interact club both are great clubs but which one is for you? What is the debate club? Well the Okeechobee debate club is a club where students and peers learn to make logical, ethical, and factual statements to persuade their peers that their claim is correct. Debate club gives you multiple skills including learning how to make organized statements and the ability to use balanced and informed arguments. The debate club is overall a great skill building club. What is the Interact club? The purpose of the Okeechobee Interact club is to bring together high school students to develop leadership skills. It gives high school students an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects. The interact club allows student to get involved in many communities at one time.
