Interviewing Teachers part 2

This week in CTE programs, starting with Mrs.Hornung’s Health Science class, her class has had the first quiz covering some basic anatomical vocabulary, which she has advised will be mentioned often during the course as we cover individual body systems. They are currently covering Chapter 2 which covers the functions of each part of the cells as they travel through the hierarchy of anatomical structure.The final section of chapter 2 will cover tissue types that are located throughout our body leading into the study of the integumentary system in Chapter 3. As they enter chapter 3, this is what Mrs.Hornung had to say “As we get into chapter 3, we will begin to have activities that are associated with the body system that is being taught.”Next up in AG Mechanics class, Mr.Thompson’s class are working on tool ID and use, and starting to talk about farm construction. In dual enrollment welding they are finishing up safety and starting to talk about metal cutting. Next week we will have more updates on these classes.
