Being a good athlete doesn’t just happen, you can’t just work out for a day and be a superstar. Being a good athlete takes consistency and dedication all day and every day. Successful student-athletes such as John White practice and work out every day. Another part of the consistency is your diet, things that are a part of a good diet are meals that are whole, grain, have protein, and drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated. Part of being a consistent athlete is being able to manage your time and plan your weightlifting and cardio evenly.
