More information on swimmers at practice.

This week I realized how hard the swimming team members work. I’m not saying just at certain times, I mean in general. Swimmers train more than athletes in other sports. Their day starts at 5am because of school and they have morning practice 4-8 times a week. In practice, they start off with warming up for about 20-30 minutes. They then start off with their actual practice by doing sets, sets in swimming are repetitions of swims for time. This is how they spend their whole practice and it’s very hard work. I feel that a lot of the swimmers look at the quote, “Work hard in silence, and let your success make the noise”, and take it to heart. Swimming is hard work but it all comes together in the end, just as long as you put a lot of effort into it.
