The Friday night football game on 8/31/23 Okeechobee played St. Edwards. The game was at St. Edwards school and their school has never had cheerleaders come to a game to cheer. So the Brahman cheerleaders went over to the St. Edwards cheerleaders around the end of the third quarter. They played some games with the St. Edwards cheerleaders. At the end of the second quarter the Brahman cheerleaders went and took some pictures with the sunset in the background. When the cheerleaders got to St. Edwards field they did not know where to go because there was not a set place for them. The cheerleaders started cheering on the other side of the field by the football players but they were getting blocked by them so they moved closer to the audience of people. By the end of the night the cheerleaders had to do 44 push-ups because that is how many points the football players scored.
“ The pictures we took in front of the sunset came out so pretty and we won,” Selina Boswell said.
