Shatter Me by Taherh Mairi is the first of an amazing YA dystopian series. We follow our main character Juliette, Juliette has been locked away in a prison for 276 days. She has been alone, None to talk to, none to touch. That is until she gets a new cellmate that leads to a new point in Juliette’s life. We watch as Juliette slowly gets her sanity back from being alone all this time. We see her relationship grow with the people around her, in a good and a bad way. “This book has such a poetic writing style, the way Juliette thinks is something to see,” Karssia Woods last said.
