Joshua Cervantes, a very interesting young man, claims that his talent is solving the Rubik’s Cube. Cervantes says that he can solve a Rubik’s cube in less than one minute! Cool isn’t it? His talent is what some would say is more ‘learnt and developed’ rather than a natural talent. Joshua started learning and developing this talent at the age of 10 when he saw another group of kids at his school trying to do it and he wanted to one-them-up. He also thought it would be fun to learn so why not try it. Sounds crazy right? But it’s true. He sat down for long periods of time trying to memorize the patterns of how to solve a Rubik’s cube just to show off but let’s be honest, we’ve all been there at one point. At first, it took a very long time to solve the Rubik’s cube but then the time went down to a week and a week went down to 3 minutes and finally after 3 months, he was able to solve the cube in less than one minute. “It wasn’t hard but it definitely took a lot of effort and memorization,” Joshua Cervantes said. Now that is what you call dedication folks. Though sadly, due to Cervantes only learning the Rubik’s cube for fun, he has no commitment to this talent and does not intend to take it any further.
