Debate and interaction groups are essential for boosting intellectual development, improving communication abilities, and developing well-rounded people. These clubs give Okeechobee high School students a venue for productive conversations, debates, and other interactive activities. Our Debate club participation fosters analytical reasoning, persuasive communication, and critical thinking. Our students gain the ability to persuasively argue their positions, actively listen to opposing arguments, and carefully respond. It encourages the formation of a solid argumentative framework that makes it possible for people to express their ideas clearly. On the other hand, our interactive club promotes cooperation, teamwork, and interpersonal communication. Both clubs plan interesting events throughout the year including conversations in groups, brainstorming sessions, and exercises in problem-solving. They encourage members’ sense of belonging and intellectual curiosity.
“Debate club is very good for our school and for students to learn how to hold a valid argument,” Micheal Palmer said
