Knowledge is the most important tool for our survival as a species, without it the very foundation of society would crumble beneath us. Think of the technological accomplishments that humanity has achieved. If we had a lack of bright minds to lead us there, we would be lost. Without the never ending cycle of new inventions, we would never have found the time to grow our “morals” and cultures as a species. We have grown far too complacent in our modern conveniences, the common man has lost the will to enlighten himself. I fear that if the people stay with this content, our species will lose the intelligence of which it has worked an impossible amount to gain.
