Book of the week

They Both Die in the End written by Adam Slivera is a YA book that follows the dual point of view of Mateo and Rufus. In this book there is a thing called the Death-Cast, when you are called, it means that you only have 24 more hours to live ….Both Mateo and Rufus get the call, and they decide to spend their last day in each other’s company. In their last 24 hours, they find a friendship and learn more about themselves and about each other. Both boys think about how they lived their lives and the decisions they made. They lived up until the point of getting the Death Cast. “I recommend this because it gives you a different perspective on life and death and when you’re done reading this book it makes you feel grateful for your life and makes you realize that you need to appreciate everyone in your life, never take your life for granted,” Amaya Alderman last said.
