On 9/14 the Okeechobee High School had their very first pep rally. At the pep rally the cheerleaders demonstrated what games the students were going to be playing and kept them on track while they were playing the games. The football game was a home game against South Fork. This was the Okeechobee Brahmans Go Gold game. The cheerleaders wore their gold uniforms and had gold face paint on them. At the beginning of the game the cheerleaders were warming up stunts. In the third quarter the cheerleaders went to play games with the South Fork cheerleaders. When they came back they threw gold footballs into the crowd. They had a slingshot and they were throwing shirts at the game.
“The Go Gold game is always a lot of fun and I love showing my condolences towards childhood cancer,” Makayla Rathbun said.
