Last week on Monday 9/18 and Wednesday 9/20 the cheerleaders had practice. Practice is from 3-5 after school. At these specific practices they were practicing their performance for the Homecoming prep rally. They perform a 2 minute and 30 second performance that involves stunts, tumbling, and dancing. In these 2 hours of practice they work hard on perfecting the stunts they have to do. There are a total of 3 different stunt sequences and the rest of the routine that they have to perfect before the Homecoming pep rally. There are many new skills that the cheerleaders have learned this year. This is why it is important to take their practice seriously and get as much work they can get done while learning new skills.
“Basket tosses can be tricky but, when you have trust in your teammates and work together we can accomplish anything,” Oseana Huidobro said.

They practiced their basket toss to get ready for the performance in front of all their peers.
