Starting off with Eden Hornung’s Health Science class, This nine week period students have built the foundation for entering into the organ systems. They finished covering our first organ system which was the Integumentary System and we are beginning the Skeletal system. “This system will continue into the beginning of the 2nd nine week period,” Eden Hornung said. We are using our Visible Body Platform to develop more in depth knowledge over the many functions of the Skeletal System. Next up with Clinton Thompson’s AG mechanics class. They are working on concrete and masonry in ag mechanics this week. Students are learning the basic principles, materials and tools necessary to mix and pour concrete. The Dual enrollment welding class is working on oxyfuel torch cutting.

A student in Clinton Thompson’s AG Mechanics class cuts wood with heavy machinery.
The student does this because he together with his colleagues are building structures.
