The Begging Of The Holocaust

          The Holocaust was the genocide of European Jews during the World War II. It started Jan 30, 1933, and ended on May 8, 1945, Nazi       

  Germany and its collaborators murdered some six million Jews. You start learning about the holocaust when you’re in middle school. The Okeechobee High School teaches you more about it and gets into more details. Learning this subject will help you understand what people have been through. All the teachers in the Okeechobee High School teach you all about the events that happen in the holocaust. Fun fact 5 Million Soviet prisoners of war were killed during this time. 30,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps starting in 1939 the Nazi government ordered all Jewish people to wear a yellow Star. Reflect on the challenges that survivors of the Holocaust faced in living with their memories and sharing their stories.
