The cross-country team ran on Tuesday at Glades Central. The boys placed first out of six other teams. They got a total of 19 points. The time for the boys are Landon Arrants 19:11, Wyatt Phillips 19:42, Angel Jaimes 20:23, Jose Garcia 20:38, Anthony Bonilla 21:26, Jonathan Hernandez 21:47, Randall Boyer 23:28, Maddox Freightner 24:05, Joshua Santamaria 24:20, Reed Pung 24:40, Colton Spooner 34:47.
The girls’ times were Keira Sallette 27:17, Carlie Eaton 28:09, Eva Sanchez 28:36, Jacqueline Hernandez 31:04, Gabriela Aguirre 31:19, Shyla Aguirre 32:36. “Pain is only temporary,” Jose Garcia said. The cross-country team has a meet tomorrow Friday. They will be running at South Fork. This is the team that will be running against districts.
