Monday: There was no school due to Teacher Work Day. Tuesday: It is the start of Homecoming week and the beginning of a new nine weeks, Today is the first day of Homecoming games, and it is a white lie – all you have to do is wear a white T-shirt and write a lie on it, there is also “change wars” where you have to put change in one of the graduating class’s jars. Float building is also happening this week, and the pep rally and bonfire are scheduled for Thursday. The deadline to buy a cap and gown in order to walk the stage is December 15th. Wednesday: Rhyme without a Reason Day, Homecoming dance tickets are non-transferable. Basketball and cheerleading tryouts will take place next week on October 24th and October 26th in the OHS cafeteria from 3 to 5P.M., Central Elementary is looking for volunteers for their fall festival on October 27th from 6 to 8 P.M.. Thursday: there is going to be wood hauling going on today, the parade is today so if you are doing float building there is a good chance you will be in the parade on your float and be at the parade lineup by 5:30, after the parade, make your way back to main campus where there will be the pep rally and bondfire but you must have your ID to be able to get in, bonefire will be done at 9:00P.M.. Friday: there is a home football game starting at 6:00 P.M.. “Juniors have a total of 5,027 points and are still in first place”, Mrs Myers said.

These are the days where students would participate in the game days for Homecoming.
