A great hobby that can be more than a hobby or project is activism. Activists have changed so many things in our lives Gandhi, Martin Luther, and César Chávez, all are historical figures whose fights changed the entire world into what it is today. Here at Okeechobee School, there is a program for young activists who are working to destroy the problem of vaping that teenagers have. S.W.A.T club has had many achievements and is a very important program that has probably stopped many teenagers from experiencing secondhand smoke. Activism is a very important hobby or activity that has stopped segregation unfair taxing and higher pay with better working conditions for field workers. If activism is interesting to you swat is a great club choice for you to stand up and protest for teenagers and how the big tobacco businesses can’t grasp everyone.
