Last Week, Okeechobee beat the Lake Placid Dragons at home 13-40. Okeechobee has not won a homecoming game in 20+ years. Players of the game, Fred Hill, Ni’ Marion Bryant, Jazari Corde, and Carriss Johns. Offensive players of the week, Carriss Johns with 22 carries for 105 rushing, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 2 point conversions. Quarterback Ni’ Marion Bryant with 20 carries for 114 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and one 28 yard touchdown pass. Honorable mention to John White for catching a 28 yard touchdown catch. 

Defensive players of the week, Fred Hill with 6 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 4 TFL’S, 1 fumble recovery and 1 interception. Carriss Johns with 6 solo tackles, and 6 assisted tackles. Jazari Corde with 1 interception. Defensive lineman Juan Agguire with 7 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, and 1 TFL. Special Teams players of the week, Luke Hayes for his hustle on the field and blocking kick-return. Matthew May for changing their strategy on the field and kept Lake Placid in their territory.
