Savannah Mahoney is a sophomore who is a member of the Debate Team. She joined the Debate Team because she likes arguing. Yet, she performs in speech, not debate. When confronted with this she says she makes speeches on why she is right. She enjoys learning how to talk to people via the Debate Team. When asked about what she thinks of the captains of the teams, “They’re good at explaining what to do,” Savannah (10) said. She is next presenting a speech about the history of women’s softball.
