Bring Cheer Season To An End

The cheerleaders had their last game last Friday on 10/27. Before the game there was a pep rally and at this pep rally the cheerleaders had a performance for the whole school. This performance had stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dancing. The last game was against Sebring and was senior night so at the beginning of the game all of the seniors that do fall activities like band, ROTC, football players, or any other fall sport. There was 4 senior cheerleaders that got to walk out. The senior cheerleaders’ were Natalia Contreras, Jania Baez, Naomi Nunez, and Taylor Arnold. “I felt pretty good about it, I’m happy I got to experience it for the last time and build new friendships in the process,” Naomi Nunez said. After all the students walked out with their with parent or people they were close with the cheerleaders ran to make a tunnel for the football plyers to run out of. Around the ending of the game the cheerleaders went into the stadiums to give out shirts, footballs, and cups. There was also a slingshot to shoot the items into the crowd. The Brahmans lost against Sebring but after the game the football players and cheerleaders lined up on the field and sung the alma mater.

The cheerleaders do their pep rally performance at the last pep rally of the school year on Friday 10/27 in last period of the school day. The cheerleaders have been working on this performance since summer and wanted to perform in front of all their peers.
