Yesterday the Jv basketball team took on the tradition prep pirates. Every time before they are about to play they always have a long prayer to make sure they always have god on their side. The game plan was to come out in a 2-3 on defense and try to keep them out of the paint and not give up easy shots. Coach Retcher always has his boys play hard at a intense level. Offensively they kept the ball moving but they could not really look to score. The Jv Coach, (Coach Retcher) made the team work on getting open without the ball and attacking the basket to get the offense going. “Lets work on the little things and try to get better,” Coach Retcher said. The final score of the Jv game was really close which shows how hard they are working on their game.
