Colton Collins was invited to the FCDI day at Tallahassee. Only the top competitors from NCDC were invited to this trip, he was one of thirty three. They performed a mock session on the house floor. They got to inside the supreme court as well. The group got to meet DeSantis, Jeanette Nunez, and Supreme court justice Jamie Grosshans. Colton was awarded a trip to Washington D.C. “The FCDI capitol at the capital was an amazing experience. Being able to not only see the capital but hear and ask politicians about their experience was a phenomenal learning experience. From past speakers of the legislature to the governor himself, I learned many aspects of politics I did not know before.” Colton Collins said.
